Cumberland University Community Arts Council presents the 3rd annual Chalk It Up! Art Fest for all! This free event is a virtual chalk art contest followed by an in-person Runoff Contest for the top 5 winners with the most votes. Everyone in Wilson County is eligible to enter the virtual chalk art contest. The virtual contest is open for 2 weeks from October 1 – October 15, 2022.
What makes it Virtual? Draw your chalk art on your own sidewalk, driveway, or approved parking lot space, take a photo, and submit it to CUCAC for voting. People’s Choice Awards will be given in each Category (see below for categories). Get your creative juices flowing and get ready to draw!
In addition, the top 5 artists with the most ‘Likes’ regardless of category will be invited to participate in a Runoff Contest in-person on Saturday, October 29, 2022. Prizes will be awarded for the Runoff Contest also. People’s Choice and Runoff Contest winners will be recognized at the Awards Garden Party following the Runoff Contest on October 29th.
One free box of washable chalk will be available to each registrant until supplies run out.
